What exactly is monochrome?

It's simply an image that has been converted with a black and white tone. Monochrome images translate a huge wave of emotion because the colors are negated. This provides more concentration on the subject. Even though it may sound like a simple task, monochrome edits can actually become a bit challenging. It takes practice to learn the adjustments between the shadows and lights and finding the perfect balance per image.
